Ochoa beach is located on San Cristobal Island, some 30 minutes from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. Access to the beach is only accessible via organized tour to Lobos Island. The length of the beach of 160 meters/524 feet.
There is a colony of Sea Lions (Zolophus wollebeki) in the area. One of the most outstanding plants of the zone is the matazarno (Piscidia carthagensis), which is a species that is well-regarded as a dense and resistant wood. Ghost crabs and hermit crabs are commonly seen along the coast. There is a temporary pond that is visited by migratory and coastal birds close to the beach.
