This tour has two options for visiting the island. The first option is to explore the island by walking around as well as snorkeling. The second option is to explore the island by diving in its surrounding waters. In order to go diving, you must have an open-water diving certificate.

Option One: Walking and Snorkeling

Interests

  • Birdwatching blue-footed boobys and Nazca boobys. You can also see pelicans and frigatebirds (there are two species in the Galápagos: the Magnificent and the Great frigate bird).
  • Snorkeling with Galápagos sharks, hammer sharks, sea lions, sting rays, starfish, and sea turtles.
  • Photography.

Option Two: Diving and Snorkeling.

Santa Fe island has a surface of 24 kilometers (15 miles), a height of 259 meters (850 ft.), and gentle currents. These gentle currents make it ideal for beginner divers since you will be able to enjoy all the marine life while remaining in shallow waters. The island also has one of the largest sea lion communities for you to feast your eyes on. During this tour, you will be able to visit Punta de Miedo and a cave that is 14 meters (46 ft.) deep.
