Cueva de Sucre is located in the agricultural region of the island, 14 kilometers (8.6 miles) from the port. Here you will enjoy a walking tour that starts on a path of approximately 480 meters (1575 ft.), followed by a crossing of a lava tunnel, that will lead you to the final destination which is the forest nursery. The purpose of the nursery is to assist in the restoration of protected forest areas in the region by eradicating species that were introduced and reinforcing reforestation with endemic and native plants.
